This is a Wildflower doll, Fawn, who I never had the chance to share back when I first got her. She, Kate, and Tara are among my very favorite dolls. I hope it will be possible to buy another one of these treasures some day, but the Etsy shop is currently closed.
I hope everyone--whether you celebrate Thanksgiving today or not--is having a great day! I'm very thankful for all of you. :)

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone who is celebrating today and for those who aren't be happy what ever you are doing today.
ReplyDeleteOops! I hit send too early! Fawn is so sweet. She looks like she is seeing something wonderful.
ReplyDeleteHappy Thanksgiving! I'm glad you decided to keep these unique dolls.
ReplyDeleteI'm a little worried about Andrea, last I heard she had gotten hurt somehow and that was over a year ago. I have 6 Wildflower dolls, I really love them too!
ReplyDeleteSame here. Last Flickr post she did was in July of 2020 and she had just had rotator cuff surgery and had also broken her wrist. Nothing from her since.
DeleteI love your Fawn! Andrea went to South America with her son last year, after recovering from injuries to both wrists. She is currently having an adventure! She said she is retired from making dolls, but one never knows - she may return and feel that creative spark again. But for now we need to treasure the Wildflowers we have. I never got to order a Fawn - she was on my list, with a couple others. They are such special dolls. Happy Thanksgiving!
ReplyDeleteOh, so glad she is doing well! I treasure the dolls she had created for me.
DeleteThank you for so many years of great posts!
ReplyDeleteThose dolls always stuck with me and I'm glad to hear an update on them and see a new picture. I hope you had a happy Thanksgiving!
ReplyDeleteHappy Thanksgiving ❤️ I also wrote with Andrea a year ago and she also told me that she moved and that she has retired from doll making cause of her wrists. So very sad cause I love her Wildflowers so much ❤️
ReplyDeleteHappy Thanksgiving! I'm so happy to see you returned to writing reviews. I used to read your blog all the time when I was in middle school and high school, and although I enjoyed your My Twinn restorations, your reviews have a special place in my heart
ReplyDeleteHappy Thanksgiving to you too, Emily! So glad you're reviewing again and I look forward to your reviews every Sunday✌
